Hi Guy's,

I inherited this multimeter from my Great Uncle Fred. He used to repair radios for the Army during WW2. Looks like he constructed it from "surplus" army radio parts. The case is a spare parts container for a WS19 I think, the volt meter looks as though it come from one as well. It's been used in the family for 70 odd years!!

Those days I guess you made do...thought rolling your own test equipment was always a cheaper option from scavenged parts
