The volume on this radiogram doesn't work for some reason? Volume is on but turning the volume pot either way wont change anything. The volume only works through the balance pot,if I turn it (balance) one way it doesn't make a difference but the other way it acts like a volume pot?Ive checked all the wiring points with the schematic and the volume pot appears to be working OK( measurement wise). The tweeter push-button switch isn't working so Ive soldered some wires to the switch so that I can mount a switch to the back panel to turn them on and off.The voltages are all OK except for 14.5v to Pos,J on RF board,it reads 9v? I checked back to the choke it reads 22v (as it should) on one side of the 2.7k ohm resistor and 9v on the other, the resistor reads spot on 2.7k ohms out of circuit, the choke reads 3.6 ohms across its terminals?(that seems high though)? Anyone know what could be happening here?

Rosco,

I seem to remember warning you this morning that there would be reprisals if your nonsense did not cease and I have never backed down from carrying out a threat in my life.

On that note, please consider yourself persona non-grata on this website though I am pleased that you have got things sorted with your radio.

I will not tolerate negativity here, nor will I tolerate the content of the e-mails I have been receiving from you. On the subject of juvenile, I will expect that one day you will learn that the world does not have to operate to your specifications. You have some growing up to do and I suggest you begin doing that today.

It's not that I object to what you are seeking. I just think you have developed a track record for asking the wrong way. Coupling requests with abuse and petty insults is not the way to get things done. Hopefully you will learn this as you gain some life experience.
