I desperately need a dial cord diagram for a Pye APL.

Hi Baz.

The Pye APL is, circuit wise, identical to the Astor HQ. These early Pyes are Electronics Industries types (Astor). The APL & HQ is in volume 10 of the AORSM, but alas no dial cording diagram. I can help with a PDF of the Astor HQ service manual, but that doesn't guarantee the dial cording is the same.

Astor HQ Circuit Diagram.

Thanks for that mono.
Circuit is the same, but much clearer than the one I have. Shame about the dial cord.
Anyone else have it?

Baz

After much frustrating efforts to restring this (VERY complicated), I checked out UK Pye radios. I found that the Pye 45 has a similar cord drive layout. Not exactly the same but it gave me the right idea. Now have a working dial!!
