Is your Airzone a Mantle or console?

The HRSA models list shows a Airzone 4A1C1, 1948 with the valve line-up as follows: 6A8G, EBF35, EL33A & 6X5GT.

The 4A1C1 is not in the AORSM books. However there is a 4A1A1 & 4A1B1 circuit, page 48, volume 7 (1948), AORSM. The only difference is there being a ECH33/ECH35 instead of a 6A8G.

If you want to have a look at the 4A1A1/B1 circuit, click on to my profile and send me an email.

Cheers.

It is most likely like the ones in the middle row of the photo below.

Airzone Fleet

The timber radio is simply the timber version of the middle row and the bottom row contain the same chassis but fitted with baseless valves.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...
