I have just picked up a 1938 Hotpoint Bandmaster console wireless receiver.

The exterior is seriously weathered and crappified from POOR storage, but the internals are in very good condition.

I'd like to restore it, so I'd like to pick the brains of people who know about these units.

I don't think the cabinet is really worth saving, but, I might recreate it into a bench top unit, using a cabinet and fascia of my own design.

Something that looks great, and wastes a heap less space.

If your feeling up to the technical side of the resotration, please contact me.

Cheers

Shane

It's amazing what you can do when you try!
