Hi Guys, I've recently picked up a HMV Little Nipper 62-52. It seems to work well and is in pretty good condition. I want to change the Caps and could just swap old for new, but would really like to use a Schematic to see what the circuit looks like. Does anyone have a Schematic they could email me, or let me know where I can get one from? Thanks for your help.

G'day,

Have a look at Kevin Chant's great site.

http://www.kevinchant.com/.

Just checked Kev's site and found that he does not have a schematic for the 62-52. If you unlock your email address in your profile page, I'll email them to you.

Cheers, Graham...

Circuit is common, it's in AORSM's and most of that series were virtually the same plot.

Two nasty habbits: There is a black pitch coverered output transformer in some. I think Kriesler may have used the same one. These have a high attrition rate and I have about 4 chasses were that has happened and combined with Kriesler that would be dozens of failures.

The accounts department was probably responsible for the screen resistor on some being changed from two 22K in parellel to one 10K which looks like 1 Watt.

If it has failed (common) go back to the two 1watt resistors or buy a 2 watt 10K. For the technical add up the screen currents of the 6BE6 and 1st RF. this will add up to more than 10mA, and be higher if the HT strays upward 10mA through 10K is 1Watt.

It is good policy to check resistors as you go.

Marc
