G'day folks
I have just obtained an Astor Caliph consul radio and it has two chassis with it. One is the three valve TRF and the other is a five valve superhet.
Looking in my books I see it at least came with a PZ chassis and perhaps it came with other chassis depending on the price.
Would anyone have any details on this set and in particular circuit diagrams of the chassis.

Hi Philstorr. Your Caliph was one of Astors better models from about 1934 and would use the PZ chassis. I should have the service information in the HRSA first Astor book, I'll try and find it if you still need it.
Don Black.

G'day Don, finally caught up with your message abou the Caliph, thanks. Kevin Chant looked up the Caliph and it seems as though it had three or four chassis available.
The H, H80, the PZ and the SAG that was a dual wave chassis. I am in the process of restoring the superhet chassis I got with it but am not too sure of which one of the above it is.
If you can find the time to have a look for the diagram for that would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
