I have a 1936 AWA battery powered radio. Does anyone have a simple modern solution to repowering this? I am seeing battery eliminators on ebay that power from the mains, but all ex USA with the wrong voltages.

Model number would be handy.
If its a real "farm" radio that runs from a 6 volt lead acid battery then the best solution is to restore it to original, with vibrator or an electronic replacement.
And then use it as designed.

Email me (address is unhidden) and I'll send you a kit manual for just what you need.

Must be at least 20 years ago I did this!

You can get most of the kit from Silicon Chip magazine.
