Got this lovely radio at the last CANBERRA HRSA meet for $20. Its in great condition and works well. There is a scuff on top which can be patched. The last owner converted it to AC which I personally dont like and will attempt to convert it back. The conversion is excellent inside the case but the power lead leaves a lot to be desired. I would have installed a IEC socket ( what do you guys think ?). Thanks for reading.        |

Photos have been sent. Was thinking about fitting a IEC socket. They did leave the battery plugs intact so may resort to that. |

It should be a relatively easy job to convert back to battery as that power supply is mounted on a wooden plinth. I would pull it out in its entirety and just unplug it. I may be able to use it elsewhere. |
