Help Wanted

Can anyone help with the identification of this Radio Case?

A Manufacturer and Model Number would be helpful.

Thanks

HMV 42-17 Chassis 42 I can send details of mine, or it appeared in Silicon Chip, August 2024. I still have it: Cabinet: Mint.

Always look on the bottom of the case Kriesler usually put some ID on the bottom which does not always correspond to the chassis in it.

Thanks for your reply Marcus,

I dug out my August copy of Silicon Chip and re-read your excellent article.

Now I know what I am looking for, I will keep an eye out for a suitable chassis.

I picked the cabinet up some time ago rather than see it thrown out.

Thanks again for your help.

I got mine less a few knobs, as you will note, as a down sizing. The fact its chassis 42 would suggest that it is like the Nippers, in other cabinets.

I have a "Nipper" in the shed with a badly broken cabinet

When I get some time I will dig it out and see if the chassis will fit this cabinet
