Further to my previous Post, I purchased a M0216 transformer from Altronic's, as suggested. I have had no luck reproducing sound of any volume from the radio. Am I doing something wrong? I have wired the center tap to the middle leg of the transformer and the two speaker leads to the outer pins. bowler

Have you connected the speaker to the transformer secondary, the 2 pins by themselves, or somehow to the primary. Your description is not very clear to me.
The centre tap should go to the middle pin on the transformer, as you have done. The outer pins go to the output transistor collectors. The speaker then connects to the 2 pins left on the transformer.
What speaker are you using?
Harold

Good Morning Harold, I had the wiring correct. The speaker I am using is a rola 8 ohm. I have since narrowed the problem to a faulty output transistor. Thanks for your help. bowler
