Hi,

i have just acquired a STC Bantam "Effiel Tower" .

i am going to polish the case and I'm wandering whether there is anyone who knows a little about these?
any information is welcome.
are they a rare model?
this one is a pink one but it needs a good clean...
i will also need to re string, so any clues are good.

cheers
marc

They are rare when pink and in good nick. They also came in ivory, walnut and mottled green. Possibly one or two mottled blue ones too.

Despite not being an old set in the overall scheme of things this one is very pricey in colours. Some collectors will pay a lot of money for them - often in excess of $500.00.

No worries, hope it all goes well. When you get it finished I can put it up as a Radio of the Week if you like. Just e-mail me a high-resolution photo and I'll do the rest. Smile
