A while back Robbert turned up at my place to pick up some valves I had procured for him from a shed clearance and he was kind enough to bring a few spares of his own to swap. Well I tested both the little philips and the Astor and they are both strong performers so I will be prettying these two up. Not sure of the model numbers but will send Brad some photos.

Hi Carl, glad you like them.

They should polish up well.

If you pull the dial of the Astor apart, you'll find replacement paper dials for other states.

I will try and perform repairs to the case sometime in the future and have a source that may be able to repro that cracked dial on the philips.
