My son who is very tech savvy has been asking me how to generate electricity and sell it. His questioning is telling me that he is willing to learn our old technology. I will invite him to join this group.

Yep, will do TC. I taught my sons how to solder when they were in primary school, they are now sparkys.

I also corrupted my grandnephew with my 'old tech mentality' so now he doesn't chuck out his old computers until he has gutted every damn useful device from them that he can and even builds his own computers from scraps. (kids are smart these days, they just need direction)

So, to start the ball rolling, if your son wants to generate electricity I would introduce him to one Dr. N Tesla.

Then, should he want to sell his electricity, a read up on one Mr. Edison followed by one Mr. Westinghouse.

Cheers.

He is actually 24. Always been pretty astute but has just started asking about old Tech.
