Hi Guys

I am working through this radio to see if I can get some life out of it. Apart from an obvious dead 12FK6, the output amplifier needs some close attention as it appears to have a short somewhere. During an initial look at the amp, I noticed the leads to the thermistor between the output transformer and the collectors of the two 2N301s had come off the thermistor. There is nothing to indicate its value so any advice on what I could use to replace it would be very much appreciated. The circuit for this radio can be found on Kevin Chants 'Car Radio Circuits' page under 964A.

Regards

Greg

Is it possible to get a cold resistance of it, or does it have any numbers on it?

No numbers.......just a small metallic like disc 9.27mm x 1.7mm. The leads look like they had been soldered to the disc so I might try to re-attach. At room temperature resistance is around 20k.

I have the Falcon workshop model.
It shows R106 at 6.8 ohms in parallel with TH101 which is listed as 8 ohms.
Hope that helps

Thank you Redxm. I must have had a seniors moment when looking at the circuit.
