 Homebrew iPhone half amp charger circuit

This is a circuit to charge your modern iPhone at a half amp. Asserting 2V on the data lines of the USB jack (do that with a voltage divider resistor network, say 22K from ground to data lines (green and white) shorted together, and then 33K to the 5V line) makes the iPhone charge at the half amp. Sure, it will take longer, but it should be easier on the battery. And if you charge your iPhone overnight, it's fast enough. Also, if you want it, there's a switch to shift from charging at half amp to having computer access to your iPhone (to download your pictures and such).
