Hi again from Jimb.
I have a friends Phillips battery portable before they were available as mains/battery.
The model is partly smudged out, so not entirely sure of model .I think it is an 111D however the valve line up differs from AORSM DATA .
That circuit has an 1Q5 in the valve line up.
I think the valve line up for this is 1T4 ,1T4 ,1R5, 1S5, 3V4. Not necessarily it that order. It looks like it has been got at, two valves are missing I suspect others may not be in the spots they now occupy. I also do not have a valve layout diagram .
Can anyone help out with a circuit and valve layout . It is somewhere around 1948.
He bought the radio when it was new I would like to be able to make it work again for him.
Kind Regards.
Jimb.

This one?

https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/philipsaus_111.html

The 111 series are all similar except for the output valve and/or some small cosmetic differences.

Anyone can download schematics (within the quota). Don't have to be a Radiomuseum member. Just follow the instructions.

Have now completed this radio, it is working very well. I did this for a friend who bought it new. He rung me the other day said he was full of the flu and wanted to know when he could pick it up.
I said ring me when he has no flu.

Or as we have done here, leave it on the front porch.
