Good morning all, just wondering if any one has any information on the coloured liquid used on soldered joints in some radios. Bowler |

I still do that with a Texta, or paint marker: Same theory shows that I actually checked that joint. A small dab in a place on a cap where it will not get mixed up with a colour code, says "I tested it" |

IIRC, the lacquers (or one of them) used back in the day was not conducive to good health. |

Probably a Friday rush order just before a long weekend: Albeit Monday was also a problem. |
