Yeah I can attest to that, I gave them up 20 years ago, but when I get a bit drunk (not very often these days) I smoke a cigar or two if I can get my hands on them, but not cigarettes, they taste awful now. Yeah Maccas is sometimes food, I prefer a fish and chip shop hamburger any day!

Have a look at the movie 'The Insider' with Russel Crowd.

It was banned in many Asian countries, you'd have to ask why.

The only way to stop is to stop. End it!

A good friend of mine is alive today because he got a deputation of primary school kids - he was a Principal - with a teary message:

'Please Mr Kelly, we don't want you to die'!

That did it for him. He quit instantly.

Yes , children are one of the few things that can make men change their thinking.
When my eldeist daughter was born, I instantly stopped smoking for 10 years !!!
Ohh,, but then I had a bad day and started again after 10 years. So I know I can do it .

It's a pernicious weed. It always grabs you harder after you quit for a while.
When I quit many years ago, my attitude was no drug is going to take over MY life.

I use the camera in my phone to take a good close up of the area I'm about to work on so as not to forget how it went together.

This applies to mechanical or electronic work. It's saved my backside quite a few times.

Re Mcdonalds, I've heard that the only reason that they include the pickle in a Big Mac is that it would be considered "Confectionery" without it due to the high sugar content. (and it's the 1st thing everyone throws out. Look at the footpath outside any Maccas)
