 What's popping my IF amp 6N8s?

One of the issues with grub screws unless SS in that application is the heat causing the internal hex to erode.

That makes them a swine to extract especially as they are often hard steel.

On rare occassions and if the situation allows and I know a specific bolt is going to be an issue and possibly weld in. I will pre drill it with the lathe, so that it can be easily drilled out.
