Hi Guys,
Finally, yesterday I was able to first prove a long term modular project together as a whole unit Smile
If you remember the old HP nixie frequency counters this might be somewhat familiar.
I do not yet have a reset pulse to zero the counters near the end of display hold, but it's coming.

It's also a real time clock that I cannot set yet until I get a GPS unit. No point in using buttons when a Human can't mark a second chageover time stamp.

Today I am working on a vintage style speaker in a die cast box that is 2 inches wide, and will be gunmetal grey hammercoated,
with a fender imitation grill cloth Smile
Cheers, Art.

Hi Guys Smile Time for an update. The video in the above post is deleted.

Thus far I have a functional clock and frequency counter with a few unfinished parts such as the
reset pulse for the decade counters and proper assembly of the frame. There's also no way to accurately set the time yet until I can plug it into a GPS with PPS output.
No point having a Human push a button to reset seconds or there's no benefit of an atomic clock.
This is an homage to vintage (70's to 80's logic) electronics in that one board could be eliminated with some extra programming of the same micro controller, and all decade counters could also be eliminated if I was prepared to read numeric frequency from the 7 segment display.

Hopefully the thing is at least together and working, if not complete, in one of the next couple of weekends.

Cheers Art (VK4FAST).
