I cant help myself. I saw the sliding core tuner in this and had to have a look at it and make it work again.
Actually this radio stuff is so much easier to play with than heaving gearboxes and engines in and out of cars.
I also play with Australian coins and you will find some of my work in the "Coin and Banknote" magazine over the last 10 years.
Back to the Mickey set it provided a few thrills so I padded out a story about it and will lodge a PDF with Brad to attach.
I'm getting the hang of this radio stuff now!
