I.m silently cursing I didnt write all that stuff down years ago

An experienced radio technician could work out candidate valves by the way the sockets are wired. Certain groups of valves were often used together by designers. You have two named already, and the rectifier won't be difficult to determine, so that leaves just 2 unknowns. Not an impossible task by any means.

Meanwhile, If you see another one on eBay, ask the seller to name the valves in it.

Thanks Brad, I think the pic is a bit better. Hi GTC, will have to keep a sharp eye out on Ebay, etc. I wouldn't mind a circuit diagram from the original maker, whoever that is.

Coming in on this late I note "Hunts" capacitors. I can tell you privately what I think the spelling should be (and it rhymes), however I think these to be the Enlish equivalent of America's "Micamold" brand.

I have found them to be extremely unreliable. I have actually seen a couple in a 12V radio that have shorted & burned. I now replace the lot on sight. I think the Heathkit CRO here also had them, but everything in it was dodgy & I ended up just sitting down & replacing every original resistor & cap left in it,as it had several faults, all of which were cured by that exercise.

Marc

The Valves are in the right order.

Great, so for the record, what is the valve line-up?
