18 months back I bought a pristine AWA Champion 4. After I rebuilt the chassis the cabinet found a way of falling from the top shelf in my garage to the concrete floor. The neighbourhood 3 blocks up the road heard my reaction Sad .
Well during my hunt to get other parts made a friend of mine showed me how to 3D scan the cabinet with his IPhone would you believe.
Apart from repairing the cabinet ( which he can do ) I MIGHT be the owner of a very nice blue, green, yellow or red Champion 4 Smile .
And before any one says it I will have indented on the bottom of the case the word "REPRODUCTION ".

It is amazing how many die cast parts can be reproduced by a printer, or a CNC. I have seen a miniature CNC at a jewellers here so if the 1903 Kitchen clock does a gear wheel: Not a problem.
