Hullo all!
Here is the second part of this project where I build a going power supply using a pair of Jaycar toroids as the control devices.
The weight and size of the "finished" device answers the question as to why power supplies went to high frequency!
Fascinating to to do however.

In the last part 2 I mentioned that I would edit a magazine version of this build and send to SC as a submission.
SC were kind enough to re-jig my submission to SC standard and print it in the January 2023 issue.

At least one person has read it, I got a note from a reader about the article and a reference to a very clear paper on the subject.
Now I cant find the reference.
I'll go away and find it.
