Is there any company that makes such items as I have a chassis with no cabinet that I would like to install in one if possible.

The only commercially made ones are the transistorised imposters with the tape and CD decks on one side. Bending plywood probably isn't the easiest task but I reckon if I was in this situation I'd give it a go.

What brand is the chassis? Some radios are probably easier to make than others. If it is a classic Airzone or Raycophone then it is worth the effort if you have the nous for woodwork. Sometimes a cabinet will come up on Ebay though it wouldn't be worth waiting as it could be ten years for a wait for any given model. There's a BGE Dapper Five cabinet on there at the moment.

A valve a day keeps the transistor away...

It's for my 1937 Reliance Skyraider chassis. I want something nice to mount it in till if I ever find the correct console cabinet for it. It's a project for my son.

Yes I'm tempted to ask them if they can make one with no holes for knobs or the dial as I could get a local carpenter to help me with those.

No harm in asking.
