Firstly, I apologise if I'm not posting the correct area!! hahaha.
I'm a 67 yo medically retired electrician & technician with not enough to do these days! I've always loved old Radio equip, and over the last few years have collected quite a few antique pieces with the intention of rebuilding to working condition. (I have the general know-how!!!).
The oldest by far, is an old 'Crosley' 51, as shown here......

And it's accompanying single valve 'Amplifier' model 51A, as shown here......

This was the pre-cursor to the Crosley 52, which incorporated both of those above, in one!

Anyway, I was considering before 'getting them working', that I would/should build a stand-a;one power supply first!, to simulate the A, B, C batteries!! I know one can 'buy' them, but I want to build it myself. Have found various configurations on line, but I want to keep it simple!

Welcome to V-R. I guess the above belongs in Member Introductions, but no matter!

Would suggest that resto projects be created in individual threads in Tech Talk with the name of the radio in the subject to aid in future searches.

You can buy a kit or PCBs from Silicon Chip magazine for a power supply for battery radios that I contributed some years back.
