I wish to contact member of this website but do not know how to go about.
Clicking on the member's profile picture tells me that their e-mail address is hidden.
Wayne.

G'day Wayne,
There's a hurdle here as the privacy policy restricts the passing on of information.
Your best bet here is to place a notice here (in this thread) that you wish to contact someone and allow them time to reply. The only other real alternative is for another member who knows the person you wish to speak with to let them know of your request.

Hi.
I'm trying to contact the member GTC, regarding where to purchase the DVD
Sydney From the Skies -- Aerial Survey 1943 on DVD.
I have un-hid my email address so that I can be contacted.
Perhaps another member will be able to assist. I am also looking for the companion Melbourne version of the disc.
Good old Google is sending me around the bend with endless dead ends.
Wayne.

GTC is usually here daily. I am sure he will reply once he sees this thread. Or he may take up your invitation to just send you an e-mail.

I use Bing to get around that issue although all search engines have a habit of putting up irrelevant listings. It can depend on the subject matter as to the extent.

The featured photo looks like Royal Randwick. Homebush Bay would have looked a little bit different then - brickworks, rubbish tips and cattle saleyards is what I remember, back before the construction of Olympic Park and the surrounding suburbs.

According to the CD-ROM cover note it's Warwick Farm racecourse in 1943, and the hundreds of 4-man tents in the centre of the racecourse is a staging camp used for thousands of American troops.

Ahhhh yes, quite right.
The tents were easier to see once I had my glasses on.
