Is it HRSA members only?

Can't speak for Canberra, but Sydney's policy is that visitors are welcome, but not able to bid during the auction part of the meeting.

Also, frequent visitors are eventually asked to join up if they wish to continue attending.

It's a pretty good little meeting. I would suggest you get to know the guys. Visitors are definetly welcome . And Steve has goods to sell. I can't see a problem there. I quickly signed up for my membership as the quarterly magazines are worth the 35 bucks alone. you are all welcome to come and look.

I can tell you now the isolation transformer cost 20 bucks, the radio 10 bucks, the oscilloscope 35 bucks, the multimeter 35 bucks, the scope iron cost 35 bucks, the variac 30 bucks, the FM radio kit 25 bucks and enough resistors and capacitors (600V) to do ten radios 30 bucks. My wife, well the best things are free lol.

CRO's turn up periodically at the Sydney meetings, but they very rarely sell. In fact, I've seen a free Tectronix taken back home because nobody wanted it. Some of them on offer are truly boat anchors weight-wise. That BWD model is a reasonable size.
