Picked up a old radiogram, a New Zealand made Courtney, and the radio works fine but the problem is there does not seem to be a switch to change to the record player I can hear the record player faintly when it is turning but although the radio stations all change no problem where the hell do I change to gram

Anyone got any idea?

Bit of a how long is abit of string question; What has the thing got SW/BC? If so it is not unusual for it to be on the wave change switch. Some have it on the tone if it is a switched type

Some radiograms didn't have a 'gram' switch. You had to tune off a station.

If you can post the model number, we may be able to track down a circuit diagram to answer your question.

In the USA, General Electric sometimes used a special volume control pot that had a center ground, one end fed by the radio, and the other fed by the record player. And the wiper feeds the audio amp as usual. And you select the desired source by twisting the knob to reduce the radio volume to zero, and keep going to start hearing the records.
