Hi there, Could anyone help me with the value of a GULBRANSEN vintage radio. It was working until we blew a valve.

That sort of comment on "blew a valve" etc. Rings alarm bells. Obviously it is likely worth more going.

But the "nitty gritty" is with out trying to be smart etc. A bit of history on what has been done to it and how one concluded it was a valve failure, has relevance. The fact that it looks to be complete is good.

In a set like that, if it has not been overhauled in recent memory it could actually be a component other than a valve (I see a lot of that) and running it may do damage.
