Hello, new guy in town.

My lovely girlfriend knew I was looking for my first record player so she tracked down a radiogram for me.

All I know is it's solid state, an Astor, from the 70s, in phenomenal condition and to me sounds amazing because I haven't listened to vinyl since living with my old man and now I'm going crazy buying up vinyl from all over the world.

Am I right in thinking what I've got is not worth much monetarily? It has a garrard model 1035 player in it?

I really dig it, but after searching the web there are some beautiful players from the 60s, love the white valve garrards!

Anyway, I hope I can get some more info here.. web searches didn't get me too far, other than finding out that Astor was as common as they come.

Sorry, correction.

Garrard 1025.. I should say. Any information at all would be marvelous!
