Well I have finally packed the old dial up and have sent it to Michael Raanan to reproduce. He seems to be a very genuine guy and pricing I think is very reasonable.

My Sky Raider is a bakelite mantel, but I will post a pic anyway.

Wow its a nice little unit. The tech that worked on mine was actually a service technician for reliance. My dial is currently with Michael Raanan getting rebuilt and the last and most costly job is the french polishing being started at the end of July. It's all worth it in the end as a piece of history will be passed on to my grand children.

Well guys I wait in anticipation for my new dial glass. I just got informed that its been finished and I sent payment off last night. Thank You Michael Raanan. Pics will be up as soon as I get it.

Well I got my new dial back today from Michael Raanan and I tell you the man is a magician. The repro looks so authentic and the price he charged for the work was absolutely great. When I get some pics done I will post ASAP.
