Hi, before years end a new book will be out , on/ about the radio industry - not about radios ! its about the times of collecting in the last 25 years, and the people, the Auction's that were , the things that happened !-------that really should not have happened!
It covers the collecting ways of the times - state by state!

Interesting book - ''definitely nothing else like it '' .. and written on pure facts !
The book was started 3 years ago . but put down, due to catering for radio parts needs !

The book is titled ''Convict Blood'' it shows the ''collecting industry ''as it really is - and was ''
Some of the senior long time collectors have contributed stories to the book !

It is a must for the incoming collector , giving an insight to exactly what he/ she will be dealing with!

To those whom would like a book when its out - please advise and I will keep you one !

Their will be only 200 books printed .. yet, I think their will be a demand for more !

Its an interesting read Ben - maybe it would make a few of the ''new age '' collectors grimace '' hmm truth must be told --------cost nothing eh !

The story from inner Melbourne 2002 year where the old collector died , he was only dead 4 days , the villains were at his place doing their best to load up!

The old guys wife 83 tossed against the stove as the hit squad ratted the place , the son arrives and in the driveway 4 of em turned on him as he tried to defend the nest , they left him in a pool of blood for his troubles !

Some wonderful soles in the collecting game! -- no their is not !!

Three of the villains got a suspended sentence - in truth they should have been ''suspended from an Elm tree ''( considering the profile they held ) - execution at dawn would not have been out of place lol lol.

Stories in the book of the scam shops ''that operated in country viccy in 1995'' ( most were run by ''ash trays'' ... shirt lifters) and pics too !! they were actually a blind for theft '' 100's of radios were obtained by deceit -- they can read all about it ay !

Yes there is 28 books now spoken for from the 200 planned !

There is a few ''stars '' in the book, stars alright ''dark stars'' every state has them , WA is loaded with em - bigger cast in WA than extras in the movie - TARAS BULBA''

South Australia is not to short on villains either - every state has its numbers!

Of course in later times 2008 onwards when everything crashed! the greed pills , were cast aside for misery pills .. that's where we are at now !

The book's over 200 pages - some stories in their -- that would shatter a pensioner's bifocals !

If some gang would bash the wife & Son to rob them why wouldn't they also bash the collector to rob him as well whne he was still alive?

Good point Art , but thing is, the collectors were all supposed to be comrades at the start, hmmm ! strangers rob strangers! but comrades ??????

Oh one error in the book advertisment is says over 200 pages? no it's over 100 pages , my typo !
