Gents,
Any info on Courtney radios? Is this an Australian or NZ manufacture?
It has a label Turnbull & Jones NZ, but also has the
ARTSP label (B)
Has the shadow tuner with ship searchlight.

Baz

Think that should be Courtenay

Courtenay radios are indeed from New Zealand. Courtenay along with Columbus were part of the Radio Corporation of New Zealand stable. New Zealand radios for a time also had ARTS&P stickers - the only difference is in the wording in regards to the Dominion of New Zealand & its Territories instead of the Commonwealth of Australia & its Territories.

Here is a list of Courtenay radios compiled by John Stokes from the NZVRS site:-

Thanks for that. I'll have to look closer at the sticker and see if it is NZ label.
I don't know which model I have, maybe I'll put a pic on here and see if someone recognises it. It has a warship shadow and as it is tuned the indicator is a searchlight from the ship, which rotates around the dial.
Also will need a cct diagram.
