Hi group does anyone know if it is true that after WW2 Batyphone W.A. used a 32v AWA chassis in some models?
Cheers Michael.

Hi Michael,

Batyphones were manufactured from 1923 through to 1953. From 1923 to 1940’s the radios were handmade in Perth, Western Australia. From 1946 till 1953 they used an AWA chassis.

More info here;

Cheers,
Gary

Gary thanks for the reply. Have been away so sorry for tardy reply.
Did not think to look at this site but have used a lot for other radios.
Possibly so little info on this brand that I figured it a real long shot.
Thanks again for the solid information. Cheers Michael.
