QLD State of Origin run is over

I've never discussed football here before because I have always had other websites to do this but for now, this is it. NSW battled QLD at Olympic Park tonight in the second of the three-match State of Origin series and took a hard-fought and low scoring game that at many times was a spiteful affair with plenty of tackled players on both sides wearing wayward elbows, some triggering all-in scuffles which would have become all-out brawls in years gone by - throwing a punch is now punishable by 10 minutes in the sin bin. The NSW win tonight gives them the series with the third game being a so-called dead rubber that will be played for state pride more than anything else. Neither state particularly enjoys losing a series 3 - 0. Game 1: NSW beat QLD 12 - 8.
