Hi all,
Just picked up a nice Dalberg 4130-D1 Pillow Speaker Radio.
Firstly, does anyone here own one, I need some answers to a few questions.
This is a nice coin operated radio used in Hospitals in the USA. It also arrived with two nice Hospital tokens inside, these were exchanged for Dimes when in use.
The case had bad scratches on one side which I am in the process of removing with wet & dry and then the Novus polishing compounds, 1, 2 & 3. It is the first time I have been game to attack a plastic radio in this manner. After reading restoration tips on the US Antique Radio web site I decided to have a go with great results. More pics as I finish the case this week.
I thought these would be common place in the USA but I am having trouble with a circuit and finding someone who actually owns one. I know there are a few US collectors with us here, so I await a reply.
Peter
