Has anyone ever had trouble with playing 45RPM micro-groove type records on a vintage phonograph? I've noticed that they keep skipping and getting stuck in an endless loop when I try playing them on our two vintage phonographs (a 1964 Astor G10L and 1967 Kriesler A118). I could get them to play on my newer phonograph unit though.

Thanks,

Chris

Never mind! I discovered that the tone-arm counterweight had slipped out of position. Now that it's back in place and tightened, 45s seem to be playing without a problem.

I would have thought balancing...still mostly I remember all those style of players being heavy arm wise ...but that was many years ago

Good to know you got it sorted Chris
