Gee, I didn't even know he was ill, and I would not have guessed his age as 73 either. Just goes to show how much TV I don't watch any more. |

I didn't realise either but it sounded like he wanted it kept quiet and just wanted to go with some dignity. It's a shame it was diagnosed too late though. Sometimes there is a good chance of recovery if the cancer is found before it reaches the liver. This cancer took my grandfather at a similar age. Generally only found as part of an investigation into something else. |
