I was scratching around Google looking at circuits for a power supply. Under Google images the site
tuberadio.com came up. I clicked on it and immediately my virus shield came up with a warning and blocked the site. It is possible that the server has a virus. I know no one who is involved with tuberadio.com but if anyone does perhaps they could warn them and get their site disinfected. From the images it looks like an interesting site.
Cheers

I run Avast anti-virus and it also blocks that site, although it is not specific as to why, whereas it usually names the offending malware that it has detected.

It may be a false positive.

What virus shield are you using?

Get the same result with Nortons virus scanner which indicates a malicious attack.

Think something nasty has attached itself to the site and hopefully someone will let the site owners know.

It could be one of three things:-

1. A genuine case of a problem file existing on the site.
2. A false positive - AV software gets things wrong sometimes but unusual to have so many different brands make the same mistake.
3. A case where someone who has a beef with the site's owner has made false submissions to AV vendors, some of whom tag a site as problematic without doing thorough research first, which I think is unethical.

I am not getting any feedback from Windows Defender. If anyone wants to contact the site owner the email is request.tuberadio.com.

I seem to recall having the same problem with this web site last year.

Sorry, I was away over Easter and couldn't respond. I also run Avast and it gave the same result on a couple of separate occasions. I couldn't use Defender or Emisoft (my other scan programs) since avast blocked everything from the site.

Thanks GTC for notifying them, much appreciated. I'll try again in a week or so. Avast may give the odd false positive, but I have usually found it pretty reliable and it has stopped a lot of nasties. Thanks to those who responded. Cheers.
