Remember Mad Mel on 2SM when I was a kid in the 60's, 2SM was the teen rage station then.

Have always been forbearing of current generation teens and the stupid things they listen to and follow.

Wonder whether "Mad Mel" is still about ?

I used to listen to him every night. One of his favourite tracks was "Monster Mash".

Wonder whether "Mad Mel" is still about ?

According to the Wiki: "It is believed that Mad Mel still lives in Sydney."

Apart from the tune Monster Mash another " Graveyard Shift" was popular in those days.

Those were the days of pocket transistor radios which were coming out of Japan and were as prized as Iphones are today.

Noted that Mad Mel may be about somewhere in Sydney, he would be pretty long in the tooth by now.
