Reports today of looting too, which is even lower than starting the fires.

Events like this bring out the best in the majority of us but also bring out the worst in a handful of us.

Do the RFS use swimming pools for water for their fire-fighting helicopters?

You'd probably not experience one of the air cranes hovering over your back yard but yes, the RFS and NSWFB can comandeer water for their trucks from any source if the need arises. Pools, water tanks, etc are fair game.

Pretty sure there is also some sort of voluntery registar you can go on if you have a source of water you dont mind donating. My parents have listed their pool as available.
While things like dams/pools can be spotted from the air, it makes it easier on the pilots if they dont have to go looking.

Still at the end of Grose Road in Faulconbridge waiting for the fire to come out of the valley.

You can register your pool or tank under the SWS (Supplementary Water Supply) Contact your local RFS for details.

Mandatory evacuations reported to have begun around Faulconbridge in a sign that things are about go really pear-shaped. Best of luck to all concerned.

Shit, sorry for the swearing but I feel bad for all those kids and families that have to rebuild their house and belongings after the fires, I hope it doesn't come this way, but if it does I'm grabbing all of my stuff out of my room and leave the rest of the non working stuff there lol maybe except my HMV P1 as it's valuable
