Hi all,

Just new to collecting and have kicked off my collection with a maroon HMV Little Nipper 61-51. Bought this one mostly for sentimental reasons as my father had an identical model and I remember as a kid, him listening to it as I got ready for school.

My question is, what is the year of manufacture for this model? I've heard everything from 1952 through to the early 60's. There must be a way to pin it down more than that. Can anyone assist?

Peter

The Little Nipper, 61-51, was made in 1954. I can't say how many years it was in production but HMV brought out new models each year that were slightly different cosmetically but used exactly the same chassis.

Pedro, if you e-mail a picture of the radio to Brad.mail.vintage-radio.com.au I will include it in your post.
