I have a Palmair deluxe which needs repairing hums but nothing else is there anyone in the outer west Blue Mountains.

I'm not familiar with the brand Palmair. If Rouse Hill is close enough you could try: Antique Radio Restorations 14 Claxton Cct, Rouse Hill NSW 2155 (02) 9836 2997

I can't say that I've heard of Palmair, is that a brand or a model?
