Picked up my first portable valve car radio today.
There are no circuits on Radio Museum, can anyone help with a circuit diagram please.
Radio Museum shows the M104 as 6 volt and a 12 volt set, plus 240 volt. It is also a dual wave set with Broadcast and two Short Wave bands, 6 valve.
Have a look here:

Hi Airzone.

There is a circuit for a Ferris 104 in the AORSM, 1955 (1954) Vol. 13, pages 119 to 121. Valve line up:- 6BH5, 6AN7, 6BH5, 6BD7, 6BW6 (9 pin version of a 6V6) & 6 or 12V Non-sync "Oak" Vibrator. Is this the same radio? I can scan you a copy if you wish.

Cheers

I have one the same though mine needs a really good clean up.

What are these things worth?

Hi Brad,
I paid $68 on Ebay two days ago.
Looks to be in good shape, will probably pull back off Friday night.
I have a full set of AORSM, will look at circuit tomorrow, thanks MonoChrome625.

Peter

I'll probably sell the two I have in the next few weeks. If you are interested keep an eye on my thread in Wanted and For Sale. I doubt I'll want a king's ransom for those.
