Can anyone direct me to a list of longwave beacons in Australia? There used to be one in WA that lurked at the bottom end of the MW band, and I'm trying to remember its callsign.

A search of the ACMA database by frequency range may help. You can limit postcode range to WA if desired. Click on client name to see callsign(s).

You may need to look within Air navigation, "NDB's". These are Longwave.

Thanks, solved that one. Perth Airport, 272Khz, "di-da-da-dit, di-di-di-dit". I must have been hearing the second harmonic on 544kHz; I could only hear it on my very cheap Hong Kong pocket radio. It wasn't audible on any other of our sets.
