 Brown Empire State with UK chassis

Hi guys just wondering I have a brown empire and the chassis label says made in britton does that make any difference to value?

AWA chasis's that have that label are export models that ended up in New Zealand, it will add nothing to the value but also doesn't reduce the value either.

I think I know what that sticker means and it takes me back to history lessons at school.

Back before 1986 when the Australia Act was given Royal Assent people in Australia were classified not according to a particular race but simply either as British or non-British although this classification system was more in vogue between 1788 and the early 1960s.

Most, if not all, Australian exports were classed as "British made" instead of "Australian made" in that time because Australia, along with dozens of other nations, was part of the British Empire.

I am fairly certain that chassis was still manufactured at the Radio-Electric works at Ashfield, NSW and merely labelled for export.
