Hi all, does anyone know what year this beuatiful console radio was produced. It works 100% and sounds amazing. I listen to ABC 702 Sydney on it - knobs are tone, tuning, volume. I've added two images below. Any info would be much appreciate. Thanks, Mark

It may also be an idea to list the valves, if possible & get a photo of the works.

Looks thirties to me.

The hollingsworth featured is a 1935 model that you could still buy in very early 1936 this was towards the end the hollingsworth productions.

Notice the escutcheon - ok healing used same escutcheon on the 45b console they produced late 1935.

They used the same escutcheon again in 1939 on there black leather cased portable escutcheon painted white - knobs on this set are Marquis wheel knobs, that were used on a variety of sets 1934 to 1938 however --not used originally on the hollingsworth.

Nice set guys - they did not make a lot of the model pictured.

Thanks Steve, great to know.

The set produces the best sound I've heard from a 1930s valve radio.Much better too than my Kriesler 11-7 tabletop.

I'll post some pictures of the workings soon.

Thanks again,

Mark
