Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

But from what I hear, it gets hot in the winter and cold in the summer in Australia Smile

Merry Christmas to you. Yes we usually sing "I'm dreaming of a hot Christmas (on the beach)"

However, the east cost of Oz is experiencing a La NiƱa event at the moment, so it's a tropical storm Christmas this year.

At this time it is about 20°C and overcast here where I work in North Sydney. It is usually 30°C.

Sydney's summers have been cooler for quite a few years now. The hottest Sydney day in my lifetime was in 1994 when the temperature hit 48.6°C and I was out building a fence. That's just shy of 120° on the old scale.

So much for global warming ay...

Yes those where the days, but when you're a Blacksmith you like heat. Then there is Xmas a time when we over eat, over drink and over spend, then work the rest of the year to get over it!

Have a Great Xmas and a safe New Year to all. Smile
